is there anyway of buying an iphone from a friend or online and using a month 2 month plan rather than a 2 year service agreement?
basically i cant afford the 750$ deposit they want because i have no credit

if it were unlocked or jail broken would i be able to take this idea and do it with another provider?
could i get an unlimited plan with at&t on a seperate phone and then switch out the sim cards?

    thanks
    bill

If they ran your credit and it says your are required to pay a deposit, nothing will change that until you get credit and prove that you can handle it. Unless your credit score improves you will be required to pay a deposit with most carriers. T-Mobile and/or Sprint might be more flexible though, but that's not a gaurantee. Moreover, neither carries the iPhone. You can't use it on Sprint (or VZW) and you have to unlock it to use it on T-Mobile. Unlocked iPhones are generally more costly than the locked ones (those sold by AT&T/Apple). You could end up paying as much as or even more than the required deposit.
