Now you can have a trendy iPhone kit that will hold your iPhone and allow you to make hands free calls while driving. Daimler has announced their Smart Drive Kit for the iPhone that will become available sometime in the second quarter of this year. The Daimler Smart Drive Kit is a cradle for your iPhone that allows you to a handsfree communication while at the same time, allow you to charge your iPhone. It comes with an app that gives you all the features you need for on the road driving. Your music and internet radio, contacts, functions and a map by Daimler that gives you points of interests from Microsoft Bing are easily access with the Smart Drive Kit and comes with an "Assist" feature that has a unique way of marking your parking location when the iPhone is undocked.

Price breakdown for the Daimler's Smart Drive Kit is €240 ($326) for the cradle, a one-off €9.99 ($14) for the app, and €49.99 ($68) annual fee for the optional on board European and US maps with live traffic data.
