Many problems arose in the US when it came to the pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 4 on the first day. Apple is still not concerned considering that over 600,000 new iPhones were pre-ordered in the US, France, Germany and the UK, which means that this is the largest pre-orders Apple has seen in one day.
Customers who did not get their pre-orders in due to the problems can try again either by visiting their nearest Apple or carrier store once pre-orders have been stocked. Apple did apologize for the chaos and the delay of the pre-orders and hope that people wanting the new iPhone will try again.
AT&T has suspended their iPhone 4 pre-orders temporarily due to fulfilling the orders they already received. This may be the case but it could also mean AT&T wants to ensure no more problems will arise.
