Hello all, I was just wondering if the iphone or the droid is the way to go I keep hearing conflicting results from various people. So if anyone has dealt with both please let me know what you think. Any help would be much appreciated.

I prefer the android in general. I guess it comes down to personal preference.

It is a personal choice. Both phones do basically the same thing. Android is open development and iPhone is completely controlled by Apple.

Here's the way I look at it: Apple want to take over the world and charge you for everything. Google also wants to take over the world but gives most of it away for free.

In response to the const of the apps: Not all apps on the Droid Market are free. There are many that do cost some money from .99cents on up. Some apps that are paid for on iTunes are actually free on the market. Angry Birds is a great example. Depending on what you want to do will dictate which phone you get.

That's a great way to describe it. Let's just say that with Apple everything you need is there and you just have to learn it as you go along while Android on the other hand is pretty much customizable and you can do a lot of different things on your phone and learn new things every time so if you are tech savvy an Android phone will best suit you
