News: New Zealand and Australia to get iPad 2, but will be shipped in 2-3 weeks

We reported earlier this week that 25 countries will receive the Apple iPad2. New Zealand and Australia were two of those companies and the launch was scheduled for March 25. The launch may be March 25, which is today, but it looks like Australia and New Zealand are going to have to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks before the iPad 2 to ship out. Europe may be facing the same dilemma as well.

Online orders were said to be taken earlier than those in retail stores. You can always get the iPad 2 at the retail stores selling the tablet, but you will have to wait until 5 PM local time.

For the online U.S. pre-orders, those will be shipped in 3 to 4 weeks.
