Least-used mechanical button if possible

Hello.

Speaking of iPhone 4, I like his environment but, what I like less, is support the mechanical whenever we want to return to the main menu, button which is quite often. Like that, then, is obliged to support it too often and force to support it, it will wear more quickly. On the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and of other Samsung Galaxy, as well as on other cell phones, there is a "Home" icon to return to the main menu by touching the touch screen. Like that there is not need to support a mechanical button to return to the main menu, what I prefer better in the Samsung Galaxy in the iPhone. I think that Apple can also make the icons on the touch screen that we return to the main menu by touching the screen, so the mechanical button being used only to wake up the phone when asleep and to turn on or turn off. And well, I would like that there is an icon to return to the main menu on the iPhone, for is not that we support the mechanical button each time we want to return to the main menu, and that the mechanical button is necessary only to wake up the iPhone and to turn on or turn off.

However, if someone of you knows an iPhone that does not require to support the mechanical button each time that we want to return to the main menu, you could let me know also.
