Bluetooth Management

Enabling / Disabling Bluetooth:

  1. Slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen, in order to access the "Control Center"
  2. Tap the "Bluetooth" icon to enable or disable this feature

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Bluetooth"
  3. Enable Bluetooth if necessary
  4. After the automatic scanning process, tap the device that you wish to pair with
  5. If prompted, tap "Pair" to enter the device's PIN (by default it usually is "1234" or "0000") and then tap "OK"
  6. Accept the pairing on the other device

Wi-Fi Management:

Enabling / Disabling Wi-Fi Connectivity:

  1. From any of the screens, slide your finger up from the bottom of the display in order to open the "Control Center"
  2. Tap the "Wi-Fi" switch to enable or disable this feature

Scanning and Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:

  1. Tap "Settings" while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. If necessary, enable Wi-Fi by tapping the slider associated with it
  4. After the automatic scanning process is complete, scroll to and select the network that you wish to connect to
  5. If required to do so, enter the network's password and other security credentials
  6. Tap "Join"

Deleting a Wi-Fi Network Profile:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. Press the blue "i" icon located to the wright of the Wi-Fi network that you wish to delete
  4. Tap "Forget this Network"

Other Networking Settings

Selecting a Network Manually:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Carrier"
  3. Tap the slider associated with "Automatic" to disable it
  4. From the list, select the desired carrier
  5. Press the "home" button

Switching Between 2G / 4G / LTE:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Cellular"
  3. Drag the slider associated with "Enable LTE" to enable or disable LTE connectivity

Enabling / Disabling Airplane Mode:

  1. From any screen, slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen to open the "Control Center"
  2. Tap the "Airplane Mode" icon to enable or disable this feature

Enabling / Disabling Data Roaming:

  1. Tap the "Settings" shortcut located on the home screen
  2. Tap "Cellular"
  3. Drag the slider associated with "Data Roaming" and set it to either "ON" or "OFF"

Enabling / Disabling GPS:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Privacy" > "Location Services"
  3. Tap the slider associated with "Location Services" to enable or disable the GPS

Enabling / Disabling Emergency Alerts:

  1. Tap the "Settings" icon
  2. Tap "Notification Center"
  3. Scroll down to "Government Alerts"
  4. Tap the sliders associated with "AMBER Alerts" an "Emergency Alerts" to enable or disable these features
