For those who have a go phone, if you opt to add a text messaging plan is the amount for the texting added to your monthy charge or subtracted, for example say I had the 39.99 plan and a 10 dollar texting plan, would my bill stay 39.99 and then would I have that many less minutes or would my plan be 49.99 and I would still have the same amount of minutes, this is for the pick your plan.

OK, say you get the 39.99 PYP which has 300 AT minutes M2M and 500 NW mins right? your 39.99 pays for the 300 AT min thats it. All the other stuff is included free.

But, say you add the 9.99 1000 text feat. That is added to the principle = 44.98 plus tx
It will have no other impact on your mins or the cost of your rate plan. But remember,if you run out of the 1000 text by sending, even recieving. You'll be charged .20 per text in or out. And you cannot add extra texts at will. You'll have to wait until the next auto refill.

There are no minutes, per se, with GoPhone accounts. There are dolar balances. They may be used to purchase air time, features or online purchase such as ringtones, Answertones . etc, If you do not use the funds for anything else, the dollar amount could purchase a certain amount of air time. Remember that dollar balances rollover and not minutes. If you purchase a feature which is not unlimited, your dollar balance would be used to pay for that use once your feature allowance is used up or has expired. So if you purchase a 200 message feature for $4.99, message number 201 would be subtracted from your dollar balance, You would then have fewer dollars to use for air time.

All costs for the purchase of features on Pick Your Plan accounts are added to your regular payments and become an addition to your regular recurring charge. Some states require taxes to be subtracted from your existing balance while other states require that the taxes be added to the regular payments.
