Ok
I have an iPhone, but my line was now eligible, for equipment upgrade.
So I ordered a refurbished Curve.
However, they are sending a new sim with the Curve.
I had wanted to just keep the Curve all wrapped up basically and sell it.
However, now do I have to activate its sim?
Then that will deactivate my iPhone, and then I'll have to go back into iTunes and reactivate.
Any idea if I could get by not activating the new sim with the Curve? I think I might need to though cause in my online account under upgrades it doesn't even let you do no commitment pricing right now on this line cause it says how it is like awaiting the upgrade to take place.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Question on upgrading phone - have to activate new sim?
Well I could put the iphone sim card into the curve sure, but that wouldn't actually notify AT&T.
However, there was a change yesterday. The online account is now longer saying the pending activation/upgrade, so now I suspect there is no reason why I need to do the activation on the new sim/phone.
No worries now. This is good. I didn't want to have to take the battery out of the plastic and everything on the curve, so that it looks perfect for buyers.
