    Hello,
My wife and I just traded up our phones for the Razor v3's. Mine is gray and hers is burgundy and they are brand new from Walmart. My phone (the gray one) will allow me to assign ringtones to my saved numbers but on her phone, the option is not even there. We returned it back to Walmart and exchanged it for the same one I have just in case it was a difference in models. The weird part, the gray one didn't have the feature available either. Am I missing something? I don't see a place to turn the feature on. Why would her menu on both phones not have the option to select ringer ID's for individual numbers?

    Thanks
    G

    Re: Ringer ID Razor v3

FOUND THE ANSWER!!! I wanted to post the solution anyway so people who may run into the same problem can fix it. This may have been in the manual but I don't read them and others may have lost theirs anyway.

If you have saved the number to the "SIM CARD", it will not allow you to set custom ringer ID's. It must have been saved to the phones internal memory.

If there is a orange icon next to their name in the address book, then it was saved to the SIM card. To change it, do the following:

    1) Highlight (do not select it) the persons' name
    2) Hit the "Options" button
    3) Go down to "Copy to Phone" and choose "Select"

You will now have two of the same contacts. One with the orange icon and one without. Delete the one with the icon next to it and you're done.

You will now be able select the name, edit contact, and select unique ringer sound.
