Need new phone: Samsung Eternity or other touchscreen/full keyboard phone?

So I've had a crappy Pearl w/ a missing trackball for months now! I qualify for an upgrade (plus Xmas is soon) so I need a new phone. My concerns are a good browser, and texting. It needs to have a keyboard (whether on the screen or an actual one). And it needs to be touch screen. (I don't want a behind the times phone! Touch screens are the future).

I went to the AT&T store and played around w/ all the phones. I'm leaning towards the Eternity. The Quickfire was something I was considering but the Eternity has a better camera. I use the camera on my phone a lot. (I have a 3-year-old!) I don't know if that's a good enough reason to cancel out the Quickfire, what do you think?

Also ruled out the Incite, after playing around with it, it's touch screen is just not appealing.

Also ruled out the VU, the Eternity is better.


I know it seems I've made my choice and I pretty much have, but still want others thoughts. MY MAIN CONCERN IS I GET THIS PHONE AND THEN AT&T RELEASES SOME OTHER PHONES! Does anyone know of any phones that haven't been released yet?? Or a site with upcoming phones??
