i am about to unlock a docomo foma d905i, which is a japanese phone. i intend to use it for the att cingular network. however, i have been reading online reviews that say the phone will only make calls, not receive them if on a 3g network, but if it is a 2g network, it will send and receive calls. is there a way to contact att and request a 2g net? is it always a 3g? i'm fairly confused about this... please help!
