Ok, I am part of the Alltel that, for some reason, could not move to Verizon. I read on alltel . com that I will be moving to AT&T. a few questions:
1.) When is this going to happen? Anyone know?
2.) We have two lines, and we pay around $100 a month for the main line (#1) being data, and (#2) my line, regular, unlimited text for both, MyCircle 15, and like 600 minutes shared. If the same (similar) plan, but with two data (iPhone + Blackberry) is around the same price, I will be the iPhone mentioned in parenthesis. Possible?
any answers greatly appreciated!

AT&T has no plan anywhere near what you want.
If you were to get an AT&T phone, you would be required to get an AT&T plan.

Re: Alltel/AT&T in California, when?
yeah, i called AT&T, and since they are GSM, we will need new phones, and if we need a new plan, then it will look like this:
$59.99 - 550 mins, etc
$9.99 - additional line
$30.00x2 - two data lines
$20.00x2 - unlimited text
TOTAL = $170
that is a giant increase for less of an account, even if we get rid of the data for one line. this is not good, it looks like we might be leaving AT&T not too soon after the merger, because the iPhone is not worth that much per month.
