Hi,
I might well be the lowest tech guy here. I use the AT&T Go Plan and maybe average about 1 call per month. I barely know how to text and it takes me forever to compose a message.
But I am tired of carrying around a cell phone AND an electronic Spanish/English dictionary. I should be able to find a cell phone which will support a Spanish/English dictionary application. Right?
I am finding this very difficult to research. The phone companies don't seem to say much about apps; and the dictionary companies don't say very much about the phones they run on. Maybe I've learned (although I am not really sure about this) that any phone which supports MSdict will support any dictionary in the MSdict format. But which phones support MSdict? A search on the Microsoft site got me nada!
Specifically, I am looking for a QUERTY phone and would like to be able to enter the accented characters (e.g. é) and the non-English characters ñ and ü. And please note that I want a standalone dictionary capability - something that will work without web access and even without cell service. And I'm looking for a phone which has a SIM chip as I know how to make such phone work in Argentina.
I'll be searching this forum to see what I can learn here but if someone has any suggestions or pointers for me I'd be most grateful.
Thanks, Bob
