I lost my cellphone not long ago, and need a new one. Unfortunately i have been dismissed, thus the phone should be cheap. I've found one on an e-commerce website called , which says the phone is compatibale with most telecom networks i know, including AT&T i'm going to use. But the multi-compatibility has bothered me, because i don't know if that is normal. By the way, the phone seemingly has many functions, compared with the low price. So i want someone to give me some suggestions. Have a look at the first page of the site's Mobile Phone category, the first black-colored cellphone is just what i refered to.

Re: Can Such A Multi-Network Phone Be Trusted
There is nothing unusual about this phone's features. Most phones are quad-band to allow you to use the phone in most countries of the world. Would you want to have to buy a different phone every time you went to a different country? Phones not sold by carriers are all unlocked to work with multiple carrier's SIM cards. This allows you to keep the same phone when you switch to another GSM carrier. You also are able to use a prepaid SIM card from a foreign country to avoid the international roaming charges assessed when you use your domestic account on a foreign network. You might pay up to $5.00 per minute in roaming charges instead of pennies per minute using a local SIM card from the foreign network.
