AT&T is introducing free WiFi in parks across Ney York. This service is available in 26 parks in NYC which was announced jointly by NYC Mayor Bloomberg and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson today morning. This service was signed for 5 years with the AT&T.

Earlier their was an unscuccessful attempt from the New York state government to implement free WiFi in 10 parks which was available from 2004 to 2009.

The places where free WiFi is available from today are give below:

1. Thomas Jefferson Park rec center in East Harlem
2. Battery Bosque in Battery Park in Manhattan
3. Joyce Kilmer Park in Bronx

The places where this service available from this summer are given below:

Staten Island: Clove Lake Park and South Beach Bronx: Bronx River Park and Devoe Park Brooklyn: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fort Greene Park, Herbert Von King Park, McCarren Park and Prospect Park Manhattan: Central Park (multiple locations), the High Line, Holcombe Rucker Park, Marcus Garvey Park and Tompkins Square Park Queens: Astoria Park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park and MacDonald Park
