I have never had 220,103.5 kb on my bill before, do you know what would cause this amount to show up. I did read in a previous answer that data usage doesn't show up immediately. Does this mean I shouldn't pay attention to the date and time to try and figure out if my usage matches the billed amount?
Thank you

Re: data usage - kb
Hi Wendyp,
220,103 kb roughly translates into 214 mb, which isn't really that much. What kind of phone do you have? Think about it this way: if you watch a longer YouTube clip in HD, you can reach that limit.
If your phone allows this, you should monitor your applications and see which one chews through your data the most. Maybe you have a background app running and using data connectivity. If your phone allows this (it should if it runs on at least Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich), you can also set a data usage limit which automatically disables data connectivity once the limit is reached.
Monitoring data usage based on your bill might be difficult. Data usage is delayed, but I think you can still take the date and time into account. If your bill shows you an exact date and time when you've used X amounts of kb, then the date and time should be correct. I think the delay refers to the fact that, if you use 10 mb (for instance) at 1 PM, and then you check your data usage one minute later, those 10 mb will not be registered. They will register, say, the day after, but at the end of the billing cycle, I think those 10 mb should be listed at the correct date and time (1 PM).
