    ya, im also having problems, once i rename it and all it uploads fine but when it initalizing/dl onto my phone it says, invalid type.

    The extention is the last three letters of the file name. For Example:

    if you song was called mysong.mp3
    the mp3 part is called the extention.

    If your song was called mysong.mid
    the mid part is called the extention.

    so u are saying that there is no special program to dl/install into your phone? you just have to change the extension?

    i did but it still doesnt work.
