Dear fellow cell phone forums members & Audiovox cell phone experts,

I have already contacted both Virgin Mobile USA & Audiovox, about this issue, and seek your help and expertise on this matter, thank you.

My name is Leonard Meng Lee. I was in Las Vegas, Nevada for a weekend vacation between December 16-19. On Sunday night, December 18,2005. I had 4 photos taken on my Virgin Mobile Flasher V7 Audiovox CDM-8910VM camera phone.

Unfortunately, I was not acting quick enough, and only 2 of the 4 photos taken that night were saved. I am desperately hoping your expert technical staff can somehow retrieve the other 2 photos taken, but clumsily not saved by me on my camera phone.

Currently, there are only 7 photos saved onto my camera phone, and only 2 of the 4 photos from Las Vegas are showing in my pictures taken section. I had and still have no contacts saved into my cell phone, because this camera cell phone is my second spare cell phone. I own another cell phone with all my contacts listed on it.

If you are able to retrieve these 2 photos for me, please help me, and please let me know.

I am open to you taking apart the phone of course, and even open to buying a replacement cell phone if this is necessary for you to retrieve the photos for me. The photos are that important to me and as precious memories.

Since this incident occurred. I have not saved anything or modified anything on my camera phone in hopes you can somehow retrieve the 2 photos for me.
I am willing and able to pay the fee for this service, please let me know how much it will cost and or if you would prefer me to donate to some charity or foundation of your choice.

I know the photos were taken, but because I did not act quick enough, I did not upload or save the photos in time, and I really am hoping your expert technical support can make my day and pull these missing photos from the memory for me.

Please kindly email me and let me know if you can help me out. I appreciate your time. Thank you. Happy Holidays.

    Cheers!
    Leonard

If you took the photo, but didn't press "save" then choose a name, and click "ok", they are gone.

Thanks for the reply TakenAback, I know the photos were taken for sure, by another person (I was posing in the photos), but they just weren't saved in time. I now know if you taken a photo, it gives you an option to save, upload..........and you need to do it right away after the photo is taken, or else you will end up with missing photos like me.

I am just holding out hope that these missing photos maybe recoverable from the internal memory.

This is a spare phone, that I bought to try out the camera phone. I don't have any names or numbers saved on this photo, so there should be no memory capacity issue.

Is there anyway, for me to retrieve these photos or do you guys know of any company/expert who does this?

The photos are important to me, and I wouldn't mind having this phone taken apart and buying a new one if it meant I could retrieve the 2 lost photos.

If you folks can help me out, I'd appreciate your feedback.

    Cheers
    Leonard

To my knowledge, unless you manually do so, they are not saved, and are immediately dumped from memory. (You are not the first to ask this, by the way)

You need not type a specific name, by default the camera assigns a number, but unless you choose one of the options: Upload, Send or Save, they are gone.

    Sorry.
