data cable for cdm-8600

Hey guys,
I've been searching for a while to find a data cable for the audiovox cdm-8600. The cheapest one i've found so far is found at cellphoneshop.net
However, eforcity.com has a data cable for only $10 that works for most of the cdm models, but it doesn't mention the 8600. Both of the mentioned data cables are said to work for the cdm-8500, which in my mind means they're the same cable and the cheaper one should also work for the 8600. Basically I'm looking for confirmation that the $10 one will work for the 8600 as well. Or, if anyone can find a cheaper cable for the 8600, that would be appreciated too. Thanks


-- After looking at CDM 8600 Fixes, and searching for the dic-1100, it looks like that would be cheaper, unless the $10 usb cable does work. The dic-1100 is serial, and i'd rather go with the usb...
