So when are you coming to
    Singapore?
We need to hang a few more drug smugglers
to hit our target for this year...
    LOL.

    What truth?
I tried to entice cowardly drug smugglers

    LOL.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nguyen_Tuong_Van
mentions that he did it to pay off his brothers legal debts.

    http://www.dailytelegraph.news.com.a...001021,00.html
says he did it to pay off the debts and mentions the brother had been
convicted of heroin smuggling and assault.

    http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au...5E7583,00.html
Another site that discusses the actions of his brother.

    http://dailytelegraph.news.com.au/st...001032,00.html
discusses his brothers prior convictions - 2 for trafficking and one for
    assault.

    http://www.hinch.net/says_archive05/Nov05/18-11-05.htm
This gives details of the assault - khoa and almost 20 vietnamese were
involved in an assault on a smaller group of islander teenagers. Khoa
took to a 16yo with a machete, inflicting horrendous injuries.

So yes, in answer to your question, there are references!

That maybe true.. but this particular incident was pushed across
Australian media pointing out the fact that the Singapore government
doesn't give a **** whether the convicted is Australian or not. If you
break the law... you are dead!
    Hence, it will deter some...

Anyway... why are you so ****ing stubborn over this. Has your dealer put
up his prices due to Nguyen not making it home!!!

I wasn't doubting you, but I hadn't seen any of that. Pity the media didn't get
beyond "gambling debts" in their recent coverage. I'd suspect a lot of the
bleeding hearts may have had a different position.

Since there's no evidence at all that he did it to help his brother,
(apart from the blind repetition of his story by the media) I'm gonna
let my courtroom-honed scepticism take that particular line with a large
grain of salt. To me, it looks like a blatant attempt to mitigate his
actions by making it look selfless....

LOL ... what sort of retarded logic is that?

You are saying we're supposed to support capital punishment just
because the drug mule also happens to have a violent brother?

Nope, that he is unlikely to have done it to pay his brother's debts, stupid.

That is the wrong thing to do...

First off why do the stupid idiots become addicts in the first
place creating a demand for drugs?

When in the hell are governments going to try abstinence based
programs and wean people off drugs and not just provide half
arsed measures to "deal with these issues?"
