....and if the dud handset was part of a package then you would also be
entitled to a refund, irrespective of whatever "Michael" or other Telstra
Shop dum****s may claim. The TIO and various fair trading/small claims
tribunals have ****ed Telstra over on these many times.

Nope. The coverage map clearly indicates, that coverage is subject to
    limitations accordingly.

You have no recourse for coverage against the map

3 repair dockets are required before you will be let out of your contract
    for "faulty handset"

Three repair dockets might be required before they will AGREE to
letting you out of your contract, but you're free to rescind it if
it's DOA (or after the first fault if that occurs within a relatively
    short time of purchase).

    Wrong, as always.

No small claims court will buy that mindless bull****.

No, DOA gets you a brand new handset, without repair, not out of your
contract. Do try and keep up.

Pity about the small claims court and the TIO.

Not a ****ing clue, as always.

Weren't you aware that the decisions of Telstra's legal department take
    precedence over any Australian legislation?
