I picked up a flyer at a Telstra shop last Friday promoting Foxtel on the
Telstra "NextG" mobile phone network.
The flyer claims that the NextG network offers "12 great Foxtel channels for
just $12/month" subject to a usage limit of 200 mins/month. The 12 channels
include one called "Union - the best in action sports."
Has anyone heard of the Union channel? Normal Foxtel doesn't have it.
Website is www.unionondemand.com
It could be:
- exclusive to NextG or
- a new channel coming soon to Foxtel or
- maybe a rebadged Fuel TV?
In the US, Union is offered by AT&T Broadband TV. http://att.mobitv.com
Any ideas guys? My guess is that Union is not in fact a Foxtel service and
so Telstra should not be claiming that it is.

Re: Another new Foxtel sports channel?
I think you'll find this is a specially created grouping just for NextG.
The other Foxtel channels will also be on a loop updated several times a day
i.e. Sky News headlines.

Is Foxtel in widescreen on your phone and do you get a magnifying glass?

Gotta say I'm with you on this one, why would anyone want this stuff.
When you think "get a life" now, perhaps this is life for heaps out there.
