Nokia 6230i Bluetooth

Hi,
Trying to transfer 32Mb of mp3 file (music) to my Nokia 6230i memory
card using Bluetooth but after only about 6 to 8 Mb transfer stops for
no apparent reason and the phone is 'sort of' locked.
I can`t disconnect it (Bluetooth>active device>disconnect) to try again.
I have to switch the phone off and on again to get it disconnected from
the paired PC. Then try the transfer again and again.
Is it a common problem with this Nokia?
Anyone has any ideas of how to......

Memory card is 512Mb (max for this phone) and i am using the latest
Nokia PC suite ver 6.82.21.0 (Nokia browser > file transfer > copy >
paste or drag)
the dongle is Belkin F8T001 ver.2.11 (works OK with all other BT gadgets)

Any help is appreciated

Tha'ts because Nokia's interpretation of the Bluetooth "standard" is
different from the rest of the world.

I don't use anything with the words Nokia or Bluetooth anymore. I used
to be very pro Nokia.

Just get a card reader fopr your phone. Is the memory SD? The make sure
your card reader can take that. Multi format card readers are like $30
at some shops. And they do every format you can think of.

The whole idea was to to use Bluetooth (wireless connections) to
transfer files. :-))
To remove SD card from this phone you have to remove battery first (!) (
pain in the a... if you want a quick transfer)
if would be a lot simpler to plug DKU-2 or DKU-5 cable or similar to do
this transfer but..

I want to use Nokia Bluetooth.

I know one thing - never ever I will buy Nokia again with all the fancy
Bluetooth and MP3 players and **** cameras
Going back to my old Motorola. (Even my wife Samsung has a better AND
workable features then Nokia)

Having owned Nokias for a lot of years, the only one that was easy to
work with in respect to PC software was the 5110 series and the Nokia
Data Suite software.

While it didn't have mp3, camera, music, etc. functionality, you could
edit contacts within the software, update the phonebook on the phone,
back it up, archive it, export it to applications such as Palm Desktop
software (and vice versa).

The last lot of Nokias that we have owned were difficult to work with.
Not only could we not edit the contacts, import from other applications,
etc. the software itself is flaky.

We currently have problems getting Bluetooth to recognise the phone.
It's mroe or less the only way that we can transfer photos off the
phone, or load mp3s, ringtones, etc. onto it.

In contrast, my new Samsung A501 is a piece of piss to work with.
However, it too has limited functionality with its contacts editing,
saving, backups etc. But with a bit of rooting around, it can be done.

With respect to copying larger files, such as MP3s to the phone, it's
quicker for me to remove the micro-SD card and plug it into the adapter
and a card reader and to transfer the files over the USB port. It takes
forever doing via Samsung's software.

It's frustrating, though, to see an option in the Samsumg software to
allow SMSing via the desktop, or editing, adding, deleting of contacts,
all greyed out as "this function is not supported by the connected
phone".

Maybe the more expensive A701 has this functionality. If it doesn't,
then it's a prick.

I wonder if there is the perfect phone where there is full
functionality/connectivity between PC and phone.
