Just wondering if any of you are NextG customers and have had any issues
sending MMSes to phones outside of the Telstra network.
My daughter and son-in-law are on a "3" 3G plan with LG phones. Whenever
I send an MMS to them, usually just an attached photo, they get the
message but the image is usually missing.
It's happened a few times now. I can send them successfully to my wife's
phone, a Nokia on Telstra GSM network (it's a 3G phone but we currently
reside in a non 3G area, only NextG).
My wife can send MMSes to our daughter's phone.
I spoke with Telstra who said that perhaps 3 needs to make sure that its
network is OK. I've mentioned that my wife has no problems, only me.

They never change, do they? It's still the old Telecom-era tactic of "blame
everybody and everything but ourselves."
The fact that nobody on any other carrier has problems sending MMS messages
to 3 phones has obviously gone sailing right over their little corporate
heads...

Thing is, it appears to be from NextG to 3's 3G, or even the GSM network
that 3 3G users roam to. My wife can MMS her from her Telstra GSM/3G
phone.
