Despite some comments made by people in relation to paying out the
Telstra Debts instead of whining about it, here is what happened to me.
It shows that there is a fundamental flaw with the way that Consumer
    Credit Files work:

-Back in 2001, an employer of mine at the time wanted to move into a
unit that I was renting. I agreed and moved out, calling Telstra to
disconnect the telephone. My boss then rang them back up, gave them my
details, and had the disconnection cancelled.

In 2005, I received for the first time ever, despite a previous dealing
with Alliance Factoring where they had my correct address, a copy of my
credit file, and on the credit file was a $12,000 debt listed with AF.
Now, prior to this, AF had plenty of opportunity to contact me, as I had
a small debt which I had paid promptly. Yet, this listing was made with
no demands prior to the listing.

From 2005, I have fought AF tooth and nail, trying to convince them
that it was not, in fact, my debt. I did the following:

    1) provided them with a statement regarding how this occured
    2) tracked down my ex boss and got a statutory declaration signed where
he ADMITS to pretending to be me in order to run up the bill
    3) went over all the details at least 40 times with different operators
from AF, who all said they would look into it, but never did

I have received harrassing telephone calls, where AF have even admitted
that they had called me more than 4 times a week (breach of the consumer
credit code), I have been hospitalised once with serious heart problems
because of the ongoing harrassment, and I have even been told in no
uncertain terms that AF does not care about the details, all they care
about is getting their money! This came from AF customer service
    management.

In the end, I finally managed to force AF to investigate the matter
properly, and then they told me they could do nothing because Telstra
had all of the details. So, I contacted Telstra and put my case
forward to their Corporate Fraud Unit (otherwise known as Telstra
    Control Group).

Finally! Telstra started an investigation, despite that they had
assigned the debt to AF, and lo and behold, they ruled in my favour and
had the debt removed from their system and advised me that they would
ensure it was removed from my credit file.

A few days later, AF advised that THEY had investigated the matter, and
that THEY had decided to remove the listing. Then they advised me that
they had advised Veda (who used to be called Baycorp Advantage) to
remove the listing on the 22nd Feb 2007.

I contacted Veda on the 26th Feb 2007, and they told me that they had
received NO instructions from AF. So, back to AF, who assured me that
Veda was 'lying' and that they had advised them as required. Back and
forth for a while until today, where Veda advised that it wasn't until
yesterday (27th Feb) that AF advised them to remove the debt. Veda
Advantage outrightly said that Alliance Factoring had lied.

So, after more than a year of fighting tooth and nail to get a listing
    removed, it finally has been.-

I urge anyone who has been a victim of identity theft, of listings on
their credit file without having been asked for the money first, or
harrassment from Alliance Factoring, to band together and provide a
united front to ensure that our kids don't have to go through the same
    thing as us.

Why on earth the same company that held the credit files AND pursued
debts was EVER allowed to form, I don't know. They say things have
changed, but I know it's still the same people behind the companies as
it was then, only the names have changed.

I am about to commence legal proceedings against Alliance Factoring for
harrassment, breaches of the consumer credit code, and a couple of other
(non-disclosed) matters. And as AF once said to me, it's nothing
    personal... just business.

They clearly arent actually stupid enough to buy that pathetic excuse for bull****.

They dont need to 'contact' you at all until the debt becomes theirs.

    > Yet, this listing was made with no demands prior to the listing.

    Easy to claim.

    > From 2005, I have fought AF tooth and nail, trying

And they clearly werent silly enough to buy it.

Worthless if you were doing a fraud.

Worthless if you were doing a fraud. Thats easy to fake and the
problem would have gone away if he had paid what was owed anyway.

    > 3) went over all the details at least 40 times with different operators

Or they did and decided that you were attempting a fraud.

No it isnt. And they dont have to abide by the code anyway.

No one is gunna buy that lie.

Thats just another way of telling you that they arent buying your lies.

Your statements I think will now get you in some hot water. You have
now accused me of being a fraud, in a public forum, so, I am now
contacting the webmaster of this forum and advising him of your
statement in relation to calling me a fraud. As my account with
phorums.com.au has enough information to identify me, especially as I
am in the IT industry and my email is public knowledge, your reply is
    considered libel.

I would expect that your posts will be removed, you will be banned from
this forum, and solicitors will be contacting you.

I also somewhat suspect that you work for a debt collection agency so
it will not be too hard to identify YOU.

So everyone knows, Rod Speed is a crank poster. He floods forums all
around the world with absolute drivel. Do a search in Google for Rod
Speed and you will find that he is just a joke. I checked him out
fully, and he is one twisted individual. His entire life revolves
around posting to forums, and looking at kiddie porn. I don't have the
time or inclination to worry about what a flamer thinks.

Re: Alliance Factoring Problem Class Action

    What is everyone's problem here?

are you all antisocial pricks or what? do you have too much time on
your hands and no friends to spend it with?

what motivates someone to post abusive posts? i would suggest you
certainly have the following things going on in your life:

    1) no friends
    2) no job
    3) no life outside usenet
    4) no parents who care about you
    5) ABSOLUTELY no partner
    6) probably extremely fat and ugly
    7) absolutely zero self-esteem

as for your comments about being new to usenet, of COURSE i'm ****ing
new! i have a life. i wrote my initial comments to bring light to a
major problem in Australia, a problem that has been investigated by the
ACCC and the ACCC have forced Alliance to change their ways, and you
idiots have NOTHING worthwhile to contribute to the conversation.

you wankers are too caught up in your fat, useless, kiddie-porn
watching lives to contribute anything useful to ANY conversation.

and it doesn't matter what you reply... you just reflect on your life
and you know what i say is true. you ARE a nobody, you HAVE no life,
you will NEVER be anyone, and you PRETEND to have a level of
intelligence that you can only DREAM of having.

this is the key here - most people share only a tiny bit of the wisdom
and knowledge that they have, because they don't feel a need to
big-note themselves in front of people, but YOU people have a need to
try and share EVERY scrap of knowledge you have in the hopes that it
will make you appear smarter. I have gone through all of Rod Speed's
posts, and i have to say, his knowledge is pathetic. he makes points
of informing everyone how clever he is, but he doesn't get the fact
that EVERYONE is at least as clever, they just don't feel the need to
    tell the whole ****ing world.

so, go do what you do best, which is clearly surfing the net, indulging
your kiddie porn fantasies (when i searched for rod speed, there are
references of him being a big child porn fan, so i presume you are part
of the same pedophile ring), and how about leaving the grown up talk to
people who actually have something useful to say about a topic.

as for Rod Speed, he is ****ing dead. it's only a matter of time now
before someone guts him for being a ****ing knob.

and you know something? no one will miss him, and PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY
CHEER WHEN HE IS DEAD! that's what you don't get!

I have no idea why you thought to include Mr Tevita's licence details
in your post, but SMI have now been informed. I'm sure that if you are
not Mr Tevita and have used that link in your posts, then SMI will
obviously want to know WHY you used it.

Threads do NOT get closed in Usenet. It might be closed on
CellphoneWankersForum.net but what WILL be closed is your account on
    that kiddy web site.

I'm sure you will be able to do that and good luck to you if you can!

You really are showing your mentality here and this is why your
CellphoneForums account will be closed and we will continue to post on
Usenet without your outbursts via a web site.

For the record I don't know Rod Speed and agree to disagree with him
on many subjects and time to time agree with him. As for your
comments regarding pedophilia, I find them OFFENSIVE.

Thanks for the update, it looks like Victoria Police database changes
the URL of the licence details, I will follow it up. I have changed
the sig for now to the correct URL.

    https://www.police.vic.gov.au/lars/l...Page=10&Row=13

I don't hid my real identity like other's do.
Your pathetic outbursts are still OFFENSIVE and irrelevant.

Strange how you can't see the utter hypocrisy in whining about abusive
posts in a post full of abuse, sonny. Or the hilarity in snivelling
about others wasting their time while you post paragraph after paragraph
    of pathetic schoolboy insults.
