You wouldnt know what a dictatorship was if one bit you on your lard arse, wogchild.

Anyone currently 'working' for telstra is always free to leave if they dont like the detail.

And with a 4.x% unemployment rate, there are plenty of other jobs available for anyone who wants
    one.

In comparison to most call centers in AU. Telstra's is a ****ing socialism.

Stupid ****ing 4corners program. ABC yet again producing more bile and
wrapping it up as 'investigative journalism'.

****wits cap themselves every day, regardless of the job. Two people
popping themselves at Telstra? BIG ****ING DEAL.

Maybe it's time you stopped quoting that bogus unemployment rate so beloved

Yes the latest ABS stats show less than 10 million employed, and over 20
    million population.
That's an "unemployment" rate of more than 50%!!!

And the oft quoted figure of 1 hour work a week to be considered employed is
total crap too. If you don't qualify for a government benefit you are not
considered unemployed by the government, even if you are looking for work
and have no hours at all.

And even the governments own "welfare" rate is much higher, as they happily
point out every time they want to reduce it.

    Nope.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof that you have
never ever had a ****ing clue about anything at all, ever.

Those who choose not to work, those who cant legally work, those
who have chosen to retire, etc etc etc are NOT unemployed.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof that you have
never ever had a ****ing clue about anything at all, ever.

There are two quite different stats collected and those on
benefits are entirely different to those who are looking for work.

Plenty of those arent even unemployed, they CHOOSE to not work, cretin.

Now now, just because the way the count of "Unemployed" has changed (on a
regular basis) in the last 30 or so years shouldn't stop pollies comparing
"Apples with Oranges" to suit their agendas.

Doesn't one hour of work a week now count a person as "employed"?

Pity that the standardised OECD unemployment rate is within 0.1%

And the actual number is irrelevant anyway, the modern
reality is that an official unemployment rate of less than 5%
means that anyone who actually wants a job can get one.

Yawn. Guess who supplies the rate to the OECD, moron.

It is a bogus figure, carefully manufactured for political gain. That has
    been well documented. Read something.

Firstly, that depends on how you define "job".

Secondly, saying to an unemployed software engineer "but you could get work
cleaning **** off toilets for the rest of your life" might be the Howard
way, but it's completely irrelevant to reality.

Cant even order you to read the OECD standardised rate
