About $45,000 per gigabyte less than Telstra PAYG.

Last time I checked I was paying an incredible $29 for 1 gigabyte, and
    10c meg after that, ****wit.

Where did you get that bull**** figure from?
Domestic PAYG rate for Telstra is $2/MB
International PAYG rate for Telstra is $15/MB

That's HALF of what the suckers using Three pay for their top tier
    roaming charges.
As usual, if you're roaming it sucks to be '3'!

Pity about the fact the vast majority of people who use a national
carrier, use it within that national carriers' home country. In this
    case, Australia, ****wit.

As I said, 1GB for $29 - Telstra will never offer anything remotely
    close to such value.

You're comparing apples with oranges... If you want to compare Three's
roaming data charges, at least compare them to Telstra's roaming
charges, not their local data charges. Telstra's intl. data rate is
    1.5c/kB with a 50c connection fee.

Roaming's a rip-off no matter which part of it you're looking at.

Pity that you once again don't have a clue what this thread is all
about. The fact that most people don't roam outside their country is
irrelevant. For those users that DO roam the pricing is critical and as
I stated Telstra are better value than Three in that case for data
charges. So try reading before posting ****wit.
Oh, and Three users don't even need to leave their home country to be
stung with roaming charges - all they need to do is see a little more of
their country outside the 30km radius of their capital cities.

Value isn't measured in bargain basement prices alone ****wit. Three
have such appallingly crap coverage that they can ONLY compete on prices
alone. If you only live in the concrete jungle and don't care or bother
to see what the real Australia looks like then Three is good value.
But I guess your sense of value is blinded by the smog!

Actually, it's not that they have to travel outside of the 30 km radius.
The higher roaming charges occur when 3 customers roam on to Telstra.
