    Hi all,
i recently applied the telstra WM6 upgrade rom to my Imate
jasjam (HTC 838) and ever since the battery life has been even more
horrendous than usual.... without even using the device i get about
12-14 hours of standy on a full charge.

Previously (on the telstra wm5 rom) i would get 2 to 2.5 days worth of
    standby.

Wireless is still off, bluetooth is still off the backlight is set as
    dim as it goes.....

anything else that stands out as a power sucker on this shockingly bad
    phone ?

What apps are running on it? (Given that it's Telstra firmware, there's
likely a bunch of un-needed **** running in the background)
I've got the Dopod 838Pro which is basically the same phone and, while not
great in terms of battery, I at least get about 2-3 days out of it.

Re: jasjam battery life after telstra wm6 upgrade

I've got spb mobile shell running on it - which again i had on the
same phone with the old rom without adversely effecting battery
life.... apart from that i pretty much use it for activesync and
taking a phone call on the odd occasion that next-g doesn drop out.

    but thats pretty much it....

over new years the ohone lasted 12-14 hours on satndby with no phone
calls.... which, needless to say, is beyond pathetic.

i'd be happy with 2-3 days -any ideas?
