Do you remember crying when we first said you could call your relatives
overseas? Did you fill with pride when we used "We Are Australian" in our
advertising campaign? Have you been guilty of telling someone that you are
"not happy Jan", or that the Great Wall of China was built to keep out the
rabbits?
Whether it is Telstra, BigPond, Telecom, Yellow Pages or even the old OTC,
over the years there have been many of our television advertisements that
have left their mark.
The team at nowwearetalking have thought hard and compiled what we believe
to be our 10 great TV commercials across the years.
Now it's your chance to tell us which is your all time favourite, watch the
commercials and vote now!

well-known one, or just something they made up?

Cactuses are full of water, not pricks.
Hope that both helps AND informs.

Cacti isn't a Latin-style plural. Cactii is, however. <sheesh> And why
would you ever think even for a moment that a word of Greek origin might
have a Latin-style plural. I suppose you think the members of Milton
Orkopoulos's family are called 'the Orkopoulii'? Do you think that,
Kwyjibo? Because it really wouldn't surprise me if you do.

Incorrect
Cactii is valid for the plural.
Speedii is not valid for multiple Speeds.
