Australian Paper typically harvests quick growth plantations of radiata pine for
use in its paper manufacturing. Most typical is the Reflex brand. Therefore, if
the claims that they're making in the article about native forests being the
source of the paper, which brands and which manufacturers supply the telcos and
indeed, anyone else that issues similar paper bills?

Certainly it seems ludicrous that they'd issue bills with so much detail. Do
they expect their customers to browse them in detail? And how would you verify
that what the bills state is correct anyway?

As for the "opt in" option for online billing it should have been made as a part
of the sign up process, and to be automatic from your phone. If the iPhone is
such a brilliant bit of gear for accessing the web then you'd reckon that it'd
be a no brainer, wouldn't you?

Of course, logging in via a PC would undoubtedly require a login user id and
password, but even then that should be able to be set up when you sign up for
    the damn thing.

Not sure. The bill printing is outsourced - Telstra probably have no idea
    either.
