Just noticed this Australian Forum.
I am going on vacation in 2 weeks to Australia. I have an unlocked Motorola V195 and a Vodafone RED SIM. I am trying to activate it on Vodafone's website so I am ready to go when I get off the plane but I am facing a roadblock. It is asking me for an Australian address. What should I do? I don't live in Australia so I can't give an address. The guy that sold me the SIM card says he can provide an address to use. Is that legitimate for me to provide this random Australian address and my passport ID number at the bottom of the page? Just doesn't seem right to me. How do travelers activate these cards if they don't live in Australia?

Re: Activating RED Vodafone SIM
Best bet would be to ring Vodafone Australia over the phone at the airport or at the hotel - they should be able to help you activate it over the phone.
