    Re: anyone know?

I just checked our ordering site. Being an indirect Bell Mobility dealer, we can't order all the stuff that Bell World's can order, but we can get all the phones that Bell Worlds can get.

Anyways, to the point, neither phone is available anymore. They have both been EOL (End of Life) for a while now.

And if you do find them anywhere, don't get the 5550. That phone is, well, LG's lemon phone. It has a LOT of on-going problems that many, many customers are having, and it's frustrating because LG's authorized repair center doesn't always fix those phones (on that note, LG is a real pain in the ass to deal with, they have very little dealer support for their phones, and therefore, even though I really do like LG phones, I don't recommend them).

Personally, I'd go with a Samsung or a Sanyo. Both are excellent phones with an excellent track record and excellent repair centers. Sadly, while LG makes some really neat and cool phones, they just don't have good support when something goes wrong.

Hmmmmm, strange, as I just looked myself on Bell.ca, under Wireless Products, and neither phone is there. The 5400 is a pretty good phone, if you can get that one then I'd go for it, but the 5550 I'd stay away from.
