    Hello, my friend just purchased a new phone and gave me his old Bell Motorola V3c Razr, and I want to use it on a telus plan is that possible since its bell? do I have to unlock it? if so how? also he doesn't remember his security code so we can't master reset it or anything.

    Help Greatly Appreciated!

    Also, Telus will not put a non-Telus device on their network. So you're out of luck on that end too.

    It has nothing to do with the phone itself. The carrier (or network if you want to call it that) will not activate it.

    Telus will not activate it because it is not a Telus phone.

    MTS will not activate it because it is not an MTS phone.


    You can see the trend. It's not because they physically can't do it, they just have policies in place that they won't do it.
