Hi all,
I have a question. I have a Fab10 nationwide feature (calling any number in Canada unlimited). Let's say I am going to place a long distance call. There is a service from Shaw for long distance. Basically the user needs to call an access number (it is not an 1-8xx-xxxxxxx-number) and then dial the desired long distance number. The cost will be deducted from the balance in the prepaid account. Way cheaper than Bell long distance (30 cents Vs 2.5 cents). That is great and all, but the user will still use up the local minutes, correct?
So, my question is, what if we include the access number e.g, 780-xxx-xxxx into one of the Fab10 number, will that still use up our minutes?

Re: Long distance card - help!
If Bell allows the number to be used for the Fab10, then no, minutes would not be used. Generally those "gateway" numbers can't be used as part of "Fab" type offerings... but you could always try.
