LG Rumour Contract help

Hi, I'm just curious, I have two questions actually so here goes:

1) I have a Solo Mobile cell phone, and I was wondering if I can transfer the contract to ANY phone, or if it has to be a Solo phone. Can I buy a prepaid phone and just transfer to that or would I have to buy it FROM solo.

2) Why does the LG rumour suck so hard?

From all I know, you cannot activate a Solo phone on Bell Mobility period unless you know "a friend"

I like the rumor. I don't understand why so many do not?
