Will an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S work?

My old phone has kinda...died, and I'm looking at buying a Samsung i9000, but I am not sure if it would work on Bell. here are the bands (or whatever they're called) that the phone runs on

GSM Bands: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
3G Bands: HSPA 900/1900/2100

Hey i just picked one up and am not having much luck i bought it unlocked from a place in edmonton (omega cell) and it worked in the city but as soon as i left the city i lost service and i live on of town so i think i will return it. I will get it looked at first but i think it might be a problem with the bands they use around here. I would wait it bell gets it this month and buy it out right from them.
