I am in a really weird situation:

Last spring a Bell Dealer came to my office offering a really amazing corporate deal, so much so that it was worth it for me to cancel my Telus Contract less than a year in and pay the penalty (which cost me a LOT of money - but based on the rate plans I was offered it made sense)

The plan was 3 year term and priced as follows:

    $22.50 / month - voice
    $25.00 / month - UNLIMITED Data
    2500 pooled texts messages
    Incoming Calls Free
    FREE Long Distance in Canada
$350 port in credit for 11 phones
$350 credit for new Activations + free handsets (I added 5 more units)

To make a long story short, after my first invoice all of the rates were incorrect. I told my dealer and he told he he would get it fixed. I get my next invoice same thing - call him up and he tells me that he doesn't understand why it hasn't been fixed.

This happens for several months and I am now starting to incur charges when my account should be in a credit balance.

Finally collections calls me and asks me why I haven't paid my bill. I explain the whole story about the rate plans and how they don't jive so they escalate the issue with corporate client care.

After speaking with several Bell employees of varying degrees of authority, I am told the the dealer (since fired/quit) misrepresented Bell and offered me non-existent rate plans. Keep in mind the rates are on signed contract by the dealer plus I have a proposal as well.

They said they would honor everything that was given to me as it is all documented and in writing up until today, but going forward I had 2 options:

    1) Sign a NEW contract with Bell with NEW rate plans or
    2) Walk with no termination fee.

I have a contract with rate plans / terms stipulated for the next three years and they are saying it is invalid??!?!?!?!?!?! CAN THEY EVEN DO THIS?

If I wanted out of the contract I would have to pay termination yet they are allowed to give me the ultimatum. I figure it is going to cost me an extra $3500.00 for the 3 years

Any comments suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Re: Bell is saying my contract is not valid and will not honour rate plan

Just a follow up to my earlier post....

I just discovered that the contract that I signed with the dealer was not the one submitted to Bell by the dealer.

I just obtained a copy of the contract that Bell has on file and it has higher rate plans and my signature is FORGED!!!

    Unbelievable....
