Upgrade Iphone?

SO I am with Bell and I have an Iphone 3g for about a year and a half now, Im wondering about the upgrade eligibility? From what I understand you must sign on for another three years and it is cheaper than buying a new phone or paying out your contract. But how do I get it, and whats the criteria for being eligible?

This is referred to as a Hardware Upgrade, and the eligibility is contingent on a number of things, mostly the duration of your contract and the expenditures of your monthly bill. I believe there's an option to check eligibility on the website (mybell.ca), but the easiest way is just to phone a client care rep and ask if you're eligible - you might also qualify for something called an 'early hardware upgrade', which is the same as above but with an additional fee. And, yes, it would require a contract renewal in exchange for a new device.
