I have less than 2 months left with Bell contract. Right now Telus is offering a really good deal, so I want to switch immediately and port my old number to Telus. But I don't want to pay the $100 cancellation fee to Bell, I just want to pay my monthly fees and finish the two months of contract, which is cheaper. Is there a way for me to port my number to Telus and have Bell give me a new number for the remaining of the contract.

Or can I change my Bell number, then tell them I want to port my old number?
