convert 8350 from nextel to sprint

Is it possible to swich my mobile net work from nextel to spring on the 8350 BB curve? I do not care if I lose my direct connect feature.

Not possible, Nextel uses iden technology, Sprint uses CDMA.

bummer but thanks. what is "unlocking" the phone and I assume that would not help either?

Unlocking the phone is mainly used with GSM phones to be used with any service provider that uses that same technology, i.e. GSM.

In this case the only other service you could use with your 8350i is Boost., but if you wanted to use a Boost phone on Nextel's network than you would need to unlock it.

I see alot of places that offer unlock codes for sale but can you get them free and does it kill the warrenty?

Again, the 8350i is not a GSM device, therefore no need to unlock it, even if you want to used it with Boost, same network.

Tony, is there an app that allows you to turn yoiur phone into an FM radio. I saw some on the app's site and even downloaded it but it had limited "stations"
