Re: Blackberry Storm, I May Go For It
Light years beyond the iPhone touch screen. The tactile response of the Storm's clicking is exactly what the iPhone is missing (i find it deeply frustrating to type on the iPhone, although some are able to master it in spite of its flaws). Wonder how long it will take for Apple to release something similar . . .

Re: Blackberry Storm, I May Go For It
I got mine shipped to me about 5 or so days after its release, and I really like it. I may not type out messages as fast as my Curve, but the features are awesome. My favorite enhancement with the Storm is the full web browser and "click" touchscreen technology.

Re: Blackberry Storm, I May Go For It
I was unsure about the touchscreen after reading reviews. But as with alll phones you get used to it. I've had it for about a month now and I am completly used to it. Go for it.

Re: Blackberry Storm, I May Go For It
I finally got my wife to get the Storm for her work. She had the Omni and had issues with phone reception. Setting up the Omni was more difficult but only had to be done once.
Setting up the Storm to work took three calls to Verizon over the course of a weekend. First to get the "books" updated for email. Then to get the internet to work but oh, the female Tech had me do a soft reset and that wiped out all the work done on the email side. Third call got the books reset again, that Tech said we never should have had to do the reset. Since then I have only had to do minor reading of the manual to help out the Mrs.
It took all of a day to get use to the new screen. We both like it. She loves getting pics on the larger screen. The camera is bad. They put in a flash that tends to wash out photos. Have not used it outside. The phone reception is one of the better PDA phones we have had and better than the Omni. All in all she loves it for work and I love it cause it was easy to set up for her.
Still have to get the Opera browser on it. The built in one is reported to not work as well as the Opera version and I have had difficulties with it. Their built in homepage won't connect. I actually had to create a new link and call it homepage and then delete that one. It would not allow me to edit it. Even Verizon couldn't figure that one out.
