Unlock Question

I have AT&T (had an iphone but broke it, and don't have a upgrade for like 6 months so I need a new phone) On craigslist I found a storm 9530 that someone will sell me but I need to know if I can just unlock it to use with at&t and change my plan from an iphone plan to a blackberry plan and not have any problems? I know there is a thread that shows HOW to do it, but I'm just asking if the first storm is possible to unlock with at&t as I have a family plan with texts and would need to change to a blackberry data plan.

yes you can use a storm one on at&t but you won't have 3g. and yes you will have to move the data plan over as well. there is a website bling-phone.com/storms you can go there and move everything over. but you will love your storm 1 on the att network
