Nokia 2110- The first Nokia phone to send and receive SMS

The Nokia 2110 was most notable for being the first Nokia phone to both send and receive SMS .Nokia 2110 was released in 1995.

FEATURES

With a large, illuminated LCD display, Nokia 2110 weighed at almost quarter a kilo (236 g) and measured 148 x 56 x 25 mm. However it was almost half the weight of its predecessor, the Nokia 1011 which was released in 1994.

The phone allowed a phone book that can store up to 125 entries, which is I think it’s enough even by today’s standard (I still have less than 100 entries on my phonebook). The phone allowed storage of 10 last numbers dialed, 10 last received calls and 10 last missed calls.

Nokia 2110 used different batteries with various talk time, standby time and of course different charging time.
