Someone mentioned to me that you can add a WIRELESS hands-free headset to a phone that doesn't have BLUETOOTH. I was wondering if anyone tried it and if it works as well as true BLUETOOTH.

    Thanks

    D.

Yes there are BT adapters for non BT phones.

Using google and this search string:
bluetooth cell phone adapters for non bluetooth phones

    I got this:

bluetooth cell phone adapters for non bluetooth phones - Google Search

    Happy clicking!

PS the adapters work fine, but kind of bulky to carry around with your phone and a thing connected to the phone (not all of them attach to the phones), but great if the phone is going to sit on a desk while you are using the BT earpiece to move around the room.

I've heard of people using these on the Hiptops...it works fine with them I've heard, just if you want to carry around something extra like BlkBear1 stated.

Here's what you're looking for I think. You will need to buy this AND a bluetooth headset though>>> Jabra A210

Radioshack sells an adapter for about $50, its a little bigger than a stamp, less than half an inch wide/deep. As long as your phone has a 2.5mm headset jack you should have no problem using this. It comes with some velcrow stuff if you want to be able to attatch it to your phone too.
