My sony ericssion w819i got FM function, I use it when I am on the road. I just ordered plantponic (too lazy to find the right ***** )explorer 320 BT headset, and I want to use it to listen to radio. The up side is convenient, the down side is just one ear.
Anyway, since I am on the road for 2 hours, and I will listen to radio in this amount of time, so does the time of BT function. I am wondering, use BT headset to talk on phone for a few minutes is fine, but to listen to radio for 2 hours, will the waves used by BT going to do me any harm for this long period of time when i listen to radio practically everyday?
Thank you

Re: bluetooth for radio?
Bluetooth uses such low amounts of power that you should be just fine. That is why the max range between 2 BT devices is roughly 10 meters.

Re: bluetooth for radio?
I know about the low power part, that's why long time use is a concern (in some case low power but long period usage would also bring out problem)
and I suppose not much people use BT handset for radio, that's why I am asking

Re: bluetooth for radio?
I am now, but I want to skip the long wire
A BT heatset is easier to manage I think

Re: bluetooth for radio?
I got the plantronic 320 BT headset, the range is not bad, 15 ft can do, start to get static after this range.
I find it hard to wear though, especially when I am wearing a glasses.
The most important thing is, I found out I cannot use it to listen to radio, the sound comes out either from the earphone or the speaker, it doesn't have a choice to output to a BT headset. quite disappointed...
I don't get many phone calls, I mainly want to use this for radio, but if this can't do, I may as well as sell it.
What do you guys think?
