Bluetooth is driving me crazy!!!

I'm trying to get a ringtone on my V710... and I don't think God wants it to be so lol. According to my girlfriends iBook G4 (with bluetooth) my phone does not have the correct services to be browsed or to transfer a file to it.

In the preferences it says that my phone has:

Dial-up network gateway.

For my girlfriends V555 it says she has :

Dial-up network gateway
Voice Gateway
Hands Free Voice Gateway
OBEX Object Push
OBEX File Transfer

I assume that my phone should have these also... is there any way that I can get that on there or update my bluetooth software on my phone?

Quick history on my phone... I got it off ebay, the first one i received didn't receive calls and would only make every one or so out of twenty. Well I exchanged it and this phone seemed to work fine. But I can't download ringtones (from where I have them hosted) and the bluetooth is messed up.

Any way I can updated bluetooth or all of the software on my phone? Thanks for any help!

And now I am feeling kind of stupid, because after some research, I believe I figured out what's going on.

The OBEX which is needed to transfer files, is obviously missing... why is this? Because Motorola didn't put that on the v710s. Please if I'm wrong.... someone correct me...... if I'm right.... can someone please explain to me WHY THE HELL THEY DID THIS!? my girlfriend has a v555..... and it can transfer files.. I thought that my v710 would too.... /smacks head......
