I just got this carkit and it is great except for these 2 design flaws (my opinion)

1) It powers down automatically after 30 minutes if your phone is not nearby. This is great if you want to have it power down automatically but you have to turn it on everytime that you are away from it more then 30 minutes. This can be a pain. Plus the power on button is small and you have to hold it down for 5 seconds or more to turn it on.

2) Once the t305 pairs with your phone it keeps a continuous bluetooth connection with your phone(Other devices only open the bluetooth connection when a button is pressed). This is going to drain you phone power supply. How much? I don't know but it's an extra drain. Of course, it's only going to drain when you are in bluetooth range to the t305.

I would suspect that when you are actively using the t305 with your phone there is even more bluetooth power drain. Can anybody confirm this?

Since there is 200 standy hours with the t305 I would have liked it to be always on. At even 125 hours, I would have to charge it only once a week.

Does anybody know if there is a hardware hack out there that can disable the t305 30 minute timer?

I would like to hear anybody's opinion on this. It have been very difficult to find a decent bluetooth speakerphone. They are quite bad
