I've just bought an IOGEAR bluetooth adapter (GBU241W6) to help me transfer pics from my Samsung m300 celly expecting it to be a lot easier than it's been so far...
I installed all the software fine, 'paired' my pc with the cell, but have no idea how to transfer the files. There is an option in the isogear's software that says file transfer, but the option is greyed out (ie unclickable). The two options that are available are "Bluetooth dial-up networking service", and "Bluetooth object push service". Not sure what the former does (is it alluding to an internet connection??), but the latter doesn't work for the pics.
Any thoughts? Maybe I can do it manually somehow on my PC, ie without the aid of the bluetooth software? Or maybe the cell is screwed up and doesn't allow for picture transfers, in which case what the hell is the bluetooth feature for?
Thanks in advance for any help!

No help?
After trying on and off for the last while I'm starting to think that maybe the m300 doesn't even support picture transfers

You are correct. This is BT info for your phone:
Supported Profiles: HSP, HFP, DUN, OPP (vCard only) version 2.0
For other transfer info see this Samsung search

Re: Help w/ transferring pics to pc from m300
And how about via data cable? I see they have these for sale, but just as with the bluetooth they conveniently omit any details about what data the cable will actually transfer. Well either that or I just can't see it which is a definite possibility
Thanks for the response, camstuf.
