Is that possible?
I did some reading and wondered if it does happen (found a post that lead me to believe it not on this forum mind u) i tried searching the forum but no idea what to write for the search and google didnt help much either, So i am asking on this forum to get a straight answer.
Inside my house i got no bars pretty much, i want some bars! So can i use the phone to connect to my bluetooth dongle thats on my pc and use my internet connection in order to get some bars on my phonel??
I did try this software BlueSoleil and it did give me some Dial-Up Network option (Dial up?? ..wait....what?? Why did it give me a Dial-up option?) along with other nonrelated options to what i am trying to figure out. Is that the thing i use or does the phone not support the bluetooth protocol that it needs that i want to use it for, or is this just not possible??
Sorry if this sounds like a dumb noob question but i just decided to jump on the bluetooth wagon and i dont know much about it.
Thank You For You'r Time!!

Re: Cell phone To BlueTooth Dongle to pc To Internet = Cell phone reception?
When it mentioned dialup, it was asking if you wanted to connect your phone to your PC and have internet via bluetooth. Meaning you could take your internet wherever your cell phone worked. Carriers charge extra for this.
You cannot increase reception by tethering your phone to your bluetooth computer adapter.
I recommend trying a cell phone repeater for your carrier.
